Feeling Moody & Blue…Menopause Help
You probably heard the term folic acid before. I became familiar with the term when I became pregnant with my first child years ago. Folic Acid also called folate, apparently is critical for regulating your mood. Also, good news, studies have shown that low levels of this B vitamin in the blood are related to depression. Of course if you experience depression or blues on a regular basis, I advise that you seek your health practitioner or doctor’s support.
However if you experience moodiness or “funk”, periodically, make sure that you get your share of leafy greens. sunflower seeds, beets, and oranges, to name a few — all of which are rich in folic acid — into your diet. Keep in mind that a good multivitamin provides 100 percent of the daily value for folic acid. Regarding multivitamins I wrote an article on the advantage of liquid vs pills or capsules some time ago.
So if you are experiencing issues with not feeling like your naturally optimistic self, folic acid just may be the answer you need.
To your excellent health!
